Founding 100 Reward Terms

1. The reward

The Founding 100 reward thanks ThePaper.in’s first 100 qualifying contributors with ₹250 in ThePaper Rewards, which can be redeemed for one ₹250 gift card. It runs while spots remain, and ends when all 100 are taken or when we close it, whichever comes first. These terms apply alongside our Terms of Service and Contributor Agreement.

2. How to qualify

You qualify when all of these are true on your contributor account:

• Your profile has a bio of at least 40 characters.
• Your profile lists at least one area of expertise.
• Your profile has at least one public link: LinkedIn, a website, or X.
• At least one of your stories has passed review and is published on ThePaper.in.

You can complete these in any order. The reward is added automatically when the last one is done, and your dashboard shows your progress. Founding Contributor numbers are given in the order contributors qualify, not the order they signed up.

3. One reward per person

Each person can earn the reward once, on one account. Creating extra accounts, publishing content you didn’t write, or otherwise trying to game the reward will disqualify you, and we may cancel a reward or a redemption that was obtained this way.

4. Redeeming your reward

• Request a gift card from your dashboard. You can choose Amazon, Zomato or Flipkart, subject to availability.
• Every request is reviewed by our team. You’ll receive your gift card code within 48 hours of your request, based on admin approval, on your dashboard and by email.
• You can have one request open at a time.
• Your balance is used when your request is approved. If a request isn’t approved, your balance stays available and we’ll tell you why where we can.
• Rewards have no cash value. They can’t be exchanged for money, transferred to another person, or split across several gift cards.

5. Your gift card

Gift cards are issued by Amazon, Zomato or Flipkart and are governed by that company’s own terms, including any expiry date. Keep your code private: anyone who has it can use it. Once a code has been delivered to you, we can’t replace it if it’s lost, shared or used by someone else.

6. Changes and ending the reward

We may change these terms or end the reward at any time, and any change will be shown on this page with a new date. Rewards you have already earned remain redeemable under the terms that applied when you earned them.
